Vista Heights Middle School’s incoming seventh graders got a head start on the new school year during a successful 7th Grade Day. The event gave students an opportunity to experience what a typical school day will look like before the entire school returns on Wednesday.
During the event, seventh graders followed their class schedules and traveled from classroom to classroom, just as they will during the regular school year. Students were able to meet teachers, find their classrooms, learn the school layout, and get a feel for how passing periods will work.
The day served as a helpful “prerun” for students who may be feeling nervous about starting middle school. With their practice run complete, Vista Heights 7th graders are ready to take on Wednesday and officially begin their new school year along with 8th and 9th grade!
