Tomorrow, Friday, September 11th, we will come together as a school community to participate in the National Day of Service and Remembrance. This year marks 25 years since the tragedy, making it an especially meaningful time to reflect and remember.
We invite students to wear red, white, and blue tomorrow as a simple way to show their respect and remembrance.
As part of the day, Governor Cox has asked schools to lower their flags in remembrance, and the City of Saratoga has encouraged our community to participate in acts of service.
At Vista, we are encouraging students to carry that spirit of kindness throughout the day. A simple act—saying hello to someone, helping a classmate, including someone who may feel left out, or simply doing something to brighten someone’s day—can make a difference.
These small acts of kindness and service are how we at Vista are coming together to remember, honor, and reflect on this important day.
Thank you for helping us make September 11th a day of remembrance, kindness, and community.

With Valentine’s Day this weekend, we kindly ask that families DO NOT send any Valentine’s gifts, especially flowers, or helium balloons to school for students! We are unable to deliver these to students as they can be distracting and difficult to manage during the school day.
Thank you for helping us keep the focus on learning.
